The National University of Education at a Distance (UNED) has produced a guide to the use of non-sexist language, particularly in administrative documents.
The guide is intended to help avoid using sexist language and to resolve any problems by providing simple non-sexist and non-discriminatory solutions.
One of the papers credited by UNED in the preparation of the guide was a document produced by Nerja Council in May 2008.
