A 65 year old man was rescued early on Tuesday after spending the night buried under the remains of a five-meter wall after it collapsed on him while he was in the courtyard of his house in Albox, Almería.
The man was buried up to his waist and trapped but managed to avoid serious injury. He was taken to the Hospital de La Inmaculada in Huércal-Overa after being rescued.
The wall is thought to have collapsed due to a build-up of water following a break in the water supply network which went unnoticed.
