From now until June 3rd, the Sala Mercado in Plaza de la Ermita is home to ‘Ventanas del mundo’ (‘Windows of the World’), the seventh edition of the Conference on Intercultural Coexitstence.
The event, organised by Asociación Tod@s Ciudadan@s, brings together people from 27 countries with the stands manned by students and family members.
The event is open from 09:00 to 14:00 for organised school trips for primary and secondary pupils and from 19:00 to 21:00 for the general public.
On May 31st, as part of the Jornadas Educativas (Educational days), there is a coexistence event involving pupils in Nerja and the rest of the Axarquia. The day begins with a breakfast and is followed by a concert at the Nerja Cultural Centre and then visits to the Nerja Caves and the Nerja Museum. The day ends with a ‘coexistence meal’ and World Games at the San Miguel school in avendia Castilla Perez.
A number of Latin American consuls are expected to attend during this day.
