The technical proposals for the sewage plant project have been opened and will now be studied in minute detail in preparation for the next stage of proceedings, the opening of the financial bids on September 13th.
A technical report on the proposals is due by the middle of August and on September 13th the financial bids will be opened and studied. A combination of technical proposals and financial bids will determine which Joint Venture Company (UTE) will actually get the contract.
The Mayor of Nerja, José Alberto Armijo, hopes that the contract can be awarded and the final draft project drawn up by the end of the year in order to achieve the 2015 deadline for completion.
