The Council is set to request the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Environment to include the placing of sunbeds on El Cañuelo beach in the next Beaches Plan to be submitted for approval to the Department of Coasts.
In addition, the request includes the provision of beach walkways with wooden railings to protect the environment in the area and prevent entry into the most vulnerable parts of this natural area.
El Cañuelo is quite a popular beach and the Council is keen to provide suitable services to users while minimising the impact on the environment.
