Moroccan Gendarmes have intercepted 28 migrants in five pneumatic boats as they tried to make their way across the Straits of Gibraltar to mainland Spain.
The interceptions began at around 08:00 on Saturday morning. Several Maritime Rescue vessels took part in the search for the small, toy botas, but the interceptions were finally carried out by the Moroccan authorities.
The migrants were eventually transferred to Tangier for processing.
