The access road to Fuente del Esparto and El Pinarillo will remain open this summer once the contract has been awarded for the exploitation of the Casa de los Mineros and the snack bar at El Pinarillo. Normally, due to fire prevention, the area is closed to motorised vehicles between June 15th and October 15th.
An information board will be erected at the beginning of the track. The access track to La Civila, a turning off the main route to Fuente del Esparto, will, however, be closed as normal. There will be a barrier to prevent vehicular access.
The decision to keep the track to Fuente del Esparto open was taken by the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Environment.
