During the month of August, National Police in Málaga city have dismantled 27 points of sale and distribution of drugs and arrested 28 people on charges of crimes against the public health.
Operations were carried out in a number of distinct areas, namely Azucarera, Carlos Haya, Centro, Cortijo de Torres, García Grana, Granja Suárez, La luz, Lagunillas, Molinillo, La Malagueta, Suárez, Plaza Mayor, Tiro Pichón, Palma Palmilla and Trinidad.
Officers seized seized 355 marijuana plants and 161.85 grams of drugs – cocaine, heroin, hashish, ecstasy and MDMA – as well as 2,166 euros in cash, a vehicle, eight weapons and numerous items of drugs paraphernalia.
