Both Real and Atético Madrid kept up their challenge in what is either a three-way battle for the title or, as things seem look at the moment, a two-way duel for second place.
Real Madrid were easy 0-5 winners at Almeria, with Ronaldo, Benzema, Bale, Isco and Morata all finding the net. The only downside as far as Real were concerned was that Ronaldo picked up an injury and had to limp off at the start of the second half.
Atlético were even more emphatic winners, scoring seven against Getafe. There were two goals for Raul Garcia, two for David Villa, one apiece for Diego Costa and Adrian and an own goal from Lopo.
