The Guardia Civil has arrested 12 people and charged a further two in connection with acquiring, sharing and distributing child pornography, some of it involving babies.
The detainees are spread across ten provinces in Spain and the age of those involved ranges from 23 years to 72 years.
Police carried out raids on 18 homes in 16 cities and seized the equivalent of 18,000 videos and 30,000 photographs containing child pornography.
