A 71-year-old man died and a 68-year-old woman was injured in the early hours of this morning in a fire in an apartment in avenida Pablo Picasso in Granada.
The fire began at around 01:00 in the living room of an apartment on the first floor of a four storey block in avenida Pablo Picasso. The fire was eventually extinguished at 03:00 and only required the evacuation of residents of the first floor.
The injured woman was taken to the Hospital San Cecilio in Granada.
