The municipality of Alozaina is also set to be the site of a heliport to be constructed by the Junta de Andalucia for use by the 061 Emergency Services.
Other municipalities in Málaga province due to get heliports this year are Campillos, Coín, Nerja and Vélez- Málaga, with the Junta de Andalucia investing a total of €408,804.
The helicopter services in Málaga province were activated on a total of 219 occasions in 2013.
