Local Police have dismantled three settlements under the arches of the aqueduct and removed a caravan from the río del Barranco in Maro.
At the aqueduct, seven people of different nationalities were evicted. One, a Spanish national, was denounced for insulting behaviour towards an officer of the law.
The Municipal Cleaning Department then proceeded to remove around 200 kilos of rubbish from the site.
