An earthquake measuring 3.1 on the Richter scale was felt in parts of Almeria province last night, particularly in the towns of La Mojonera, Roquetas de Mar and El Ejido.
The quake was at a depth of eleven kilometres and had its epicentre in La Mojonera. There were some minor rockslides and reports of objects moving but no injuries have been reported.
