We divide our time between Nerja and the U.K. and always eat regularly at Cafe del Mar (J J’s) when we are in Nerja. We go there 2 or 3 times a week and can honestly say that we have always enjoyed all our meals there. The food is beautifully cooked by Janet (who will always try to help out with special requests) and served by Miguel and Graham who are always very pleasant and cheerful. We can happily recommend this restaurant to anyone who is looking for good quality food at reasonable prices.

I holiday with my wife in Nerja 3 times a year WE always eat at JJ’s Cafe del Mar at Burriana Beach.
The food is always excellent and the Staff Janet,Miguel and Graham always welcome us with open arms . They are the best restaurant in Burriana Beach. The food is first class and is freshly prepared and is recently presented. I Would recommend anybody to visit this restaurant and taste the culinary delights at very reasonable prices. It is advisable to book a table as it is always busy.

My DH had the steak n ale pie and he said he can honestly say that it was the best steak pie he has ever tasted. Very good prices, definitely worth a visit.Compliments to the chef

Just back from Nerja and ate in Cafe del Mar (JJs) three times. Food and service excellent. We discovered this restaurant quite by accident a few years ago. Now one of our favourite eating places in Nerja. Best wishes to Miguel, Janet and Graham.

We cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough. JJ’s is an outstanding restaurant, 3rd year on the run we have visited and received quality food, warm welcome, and excellent value for money. Top class meals presented beautifully, we will always visit JJ’s. The goats cheese bruschetta is to die for as is the pâté and pork shank.

My favorite in Nerja/Burriana. Food is perfect, and prices friendly, and so are Graham and Miquel. Janet is a masterchef. I live in the area all winter and has been a costumer in Cafe del Mar for 15 years. Love it.💕

When we take our table in JJ’S quite suddenly that wonderful feeling of being relaxed and on holiday comes over us. We visit a good selection of restaurants in Nerja, but this one does it for us. Obviously good food is an essential part of our total enjoyment, but the mix of everything is why we return time and time again. When we can travel again we’ll be back in a shot! Thank you for everything Janet, Miguel and Graham.
