On the way out of Nerja on the old N-340 coast road to Maro and the Nerja Caves, just past urbanisation Fuente del Baden, is the rather nice Santo Cristo shrine.
The shrine is set at the back of a large layby, making it easily accessible by car, and is quite a popular attraction.
There are benches next to the shrine, and you will often see people just sitting in quiet contemplation, reading a book….or just having a rest.
