The gardens are well maintained & the new pool only a minute away. This spacious townhouse is furnished & decorated to a high standard inc. all mod cons with air-conditioning; ensuring your holiday is comfortable and relaxing.

There is a sunny private patio for alfresco dining, in addition there is a private roof terrace with sun loungers. The floorings/staircase throughout are marble and marble style tiling.

All the windows and doors are fitted with shutters which help keep the house cool in summer, and make it completely secure, together with a safe. For the winter months there is heating available in all the rooms in the house.

This townhouse would be suitable for a family with older children, couples or friends.

Notes on prices

Prices are for the property per week. Which includes cleaning at start and end of rental, and an extra set of bed linen, bath and hand towels provided for more than a one week stay. Tea towels and hand towels are also available in kitchen. Also included are costs of ‘normal’ usage of heating and air-conditioning in the house. Discounts will be offered on bookings for longer Winter rentals. Extra cleaning and laundry services can be arranged by request.

Changeover day

Booking periods are usually Sat to Sat in summer, otherwise flexible. In busy summer periods check in would be after 2pm and check out by 10am. However, we will try to be flexible on these times.


Bedroom 1: Double bed, bedside cabinets, tall chest of drawers, various lamps, and new glass doors to Juliet balcony with sea glimpses.

Bedroom 2: twin beds, bedside cabinet, wall shelf, wall lamps, Sky TV, VCR. Electronic safe. Both bedrooms have ceiling fans, & very large fitted wardrobes with spacious hanging and shelf space.

Newly renovated luxury modern family bathroom with very spacious Champagne shower, modern white washbasin/cabinet and wc. Wall heater for winter months. Also newly renovated separate downstairs cloakroom including modern white washbasin/cabinet and wc.

Separate light modern kitchen with ceramic hob, cooker, dishwasher, large fridge/freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster, coffee plungers, liquidiser, food mixers. Wide range of glasses, cutlery and crockery. Very well equipped and suitable for longer lets.

A laundry/storeroom area is conveniently located on the roof terrace. There are also 2 sunbeds, and a small table. This area also includes washing machine and drying facilities (washing lines, pegs, clothes horse). Sunbed and chair cushions are kept here.

Spacious open plan living room/dining area with Air/Cond. and double glass doors to pretty patio (with modern table and 6 chairs, sun awnings, sun umbrella and BBQ ). Two comfortable modern sofas, glass coffee table, lamps & uplighter, 32” TV with Sky (Freeview+), DVD player, CD/radio Hi-Fi. Dining area includes glass table & 4 chairs plus wall shelving with Travel info, Books, Games, Cards, Scrabble etc.

Also supplied is a steam iron, ironing board, hairdryer, weighing scales (for luggage & other items!), & smoke alarm. First Aid kit, Sewing Kit, hot water bottle, Cool bag, shopping trolley, beach toys; UK adaptors as well as electronic safe for valuables.

On your arrival the house will be freshly cleaned and serviced with beds made and a supply of newly laundered hand & large bath towels. For stays of more than one week, a fresh set of bed linen/towels will be left in the house. Please bring beach towels.

The house is most suitable for families with older children (rather than very small children) couples and friends. However, a cot and highchair can be organised if required.

Air-conditioning (which is very unusual in rental properties) is provided in the living area, and ceiling fans in the bedrooms. There is heating provided in all the rooms in the house for stays during the winter months. There are shutters and grills provided on all the doors and windows, these help keep the house warm in winter and cool in summer. They also ensure that the property is completely secure. There is also an electronic safe provided in the 2nd bedroom wardrobe.

The entrance to the property has a lovely area with orange trees and wooden bench seating; there is also a well kept secluded lawn area and gardens around the property. The communal gardens and new pool area (usually open June-October) are right next-door to the house. Parking is available in street.

There is a barbecue ready for use on the patio. This area is ideal for alfresco dining. The roof terrace has 2 sun loungers, a small table, and sun umbrella. The ‘Absolute Fitness and Pilates’ Fitness Centre is also very close by with heated indoor pool, Jacuzzi, sauna, Turkish baths, gymnasium and various fitness classes. Parking is available in the road outside and there is a very large car park (now paying) just behind the property. However, a car is not ssential.


The nearest beach, only 300m away, is the lovely sandy Playa Carabeillo, this beach leads on to the famous Burriana Beach. The Burriana beach is one of the few ‘blue-flag’ beaches in Spain, and there are numerous beach bars, restaurants and shops along the promenade.

Other beaches within a five minute walk from the house are the Playa Carabeo, Playa Chorrillo and Playa Calahonda.


There are four golf courses nearby. Baviera is a 20 minute drive, Anoreta is 35 mins and Salobrena is 45 mins. A new 18 hole golf course has opened at Caletta which is only 9km from Nerja – 30 mins. Caleta also has a loverly Port with several fresh fish restaurants very reasonably priced.


The ski slopes of the Sierra Nevada, Sol Y Nieve, are approximately 1.5 hours drive away. The slopes are normally open in early November until late March. All ski equipment can be hired there. There is also English speaking tuition available.

Special interest holidays

There are 2 water parks in the area, one at Torre de Mar, the other at Almunecar, both within 20-30 minutes drive.

This is a great area for walking in the Andalucian Mountains or the local hills which are preserved as a Nature Park, free of housing. Burriana beach offers water sports including a professional scuba diving school. Diving is particularly good along the coastline east of the beach which is a series of unspoilt coves and cliffs with Marine Nature Park status.


Malaga airport is a 45 minute drive away, with motorway access to within a mile of the town of Nerja.

A car is not essential, but there are many interesting places (Granada’s famous Alhambra Palace) and uncrowded beaches to visit if you do have one. I can recommend a taxi company, cheaper than the one at the airport. There is also a regular bus service from Malaga to Nerja (only €7 return). Granada airport is approx 1 l/2 hrs drive away. There is an exellent bus service to all nearby towns from Nerja Bus Station, only 10 minutes walk from the townhouse.


The award winning beautiful village of Frigiliana is only 5kms away. The village of Maro and the famous Nerja Caves (well worth a visit) are approx 7 kms drive (or get the bus). Granada and the amazing Moorish Alhambra Palace are approximately 1 and 1/4 hrs away (you can also catch the bus).

Further details

The nearest supermarket, which caters for Spanish and international food, and an Internet cafe are 2 minutes walk away in Los Huertos. There are very many Tapas bars, cafes, restaurants and shops within a short stroll. Various banks and the Tourist Office are very nearby at the ‘Balcon de Europa’.
