Asphalting in Estepona

Estepona Council is set to launch a project this month which will see 51 streets being asphalted at a cost, to the Málaga Provincial Council of around one million euros.

Asphalting of the N-340

The Local Government will this week approve a project to asphalt the stretch of the N-340 coastal road between the Punta Lara roundabout and the Rapto de Europa. Control of, and responsibility for, this stretch of the N-340 was ceded to Nerja several years ago.

Asphalting in Cártama

Cártama Council has initiated a plan to asphalt 20 streets in the municipality, the project being awarded to Pavicons Maquinaria S.L. and Construcciones Maygar S.L. at a cost of around €206,000.

Road repairs in Alhaurín el Grande

The Council in Alhaurín el Grande has allocated €200,000 for repairs to 64 rural roads and a further €250,000 for the asphalting of three lanes, the carril de Fuente del Perro, the Camino de los Bueyes and another one in Villafranco del Guadalhorce.

Calle Carabeo phases 3 and 4 to start shortly

Work on the last two phases of calle Carabeo, paving and asphalting, are due to start within the next couple of weeks with a predicted completion period of three months.

According to the Council, work on the final two phases of the calle Carabeo project, paving and asphalting, are due to start in the next couple of weeks. The work is budgeted at €210,000 and the estimated completion time is three months.

The Council has finished the asphalting work on calle Puento Viejo, calles Rafael Alberti, Dámaso Alonso, Solana, Julio Romero, Antonio Jímenez and the access road to the Sierra Almijara school. The works cost €46,000.
