The roadworks continue in calle Carmen, the short road joining the paseo Balcón de Europa with Plaza de España, and a total of eight orange trees are now being planted in the street.

The Councillor for Infrastructure, Antonio Garcia, has announced the upcoming start of yet more reurbanisation works in calle Carmen, on the stretch linking to Plaza de España.

The Council has approved the technical details for further renovation works to calle Carmen, this time the area connecting the street to Plaza de España. The €60,000 project includes, amongst other things, replacing the existing pavements.
Balcon de Europa January 11th
Work on the Balcon de Europa continues, slowly but surely. The surface is gradually becoming usable again and it shouldn’t be too long before this stretch is completed. The cafes along this part of calle Carmen can at least open again and try to make up some of the income lost during the past couple of months.

The Councilor for Infrastructure, José Alberto Tomé, has been holding meetings with residents and businessmen who will be affected by the upcoming renovation works in calle Carmen, Avenida Andalucia and Plaza Cavana.
