Málaga Provincial Council has allocated €68,136 to adapt the bullring in Carratraca to meet the requirements of law 68/2006 governing bullfighting in Andalucia so that the arena can once again be used for the purpose for which it was originally built in 1878.
Award for the Hotel Villa Padierna Thermas in Carratraca
The Hotel Villa Padierna Thermas in Carratraca has been voted the ‘Best Spa Hotel in Spain’ by the World Travel Awards organisation, the award being presented at a ceremony held in the Algarve. Another hotel in the same chain, the Villa Padierna Palace Hotel in Marbella recently became the first six star hotel in Andalucia.
Roadworks finished in Carratraca
Calle Carril, one of the main streets in the municipality of Carratraca, Málaga province, has been reopened to traffic after six months of roadworks, a project which cost €176,00 and involved renewing infrastructure and installing a new pavement.
