Five people have been arrested, including two minors, in connection with robberies from two vehicles on a street in Serrato.
Another burning car
Another car, the second this week and the seventh in less than a month, has been destroyed by fire down by the rio Chillar in Nerja. Three motorcycles have also suffered the same fate during the past month. Police are investigating the incidents and believe at this stage that the various fires could have been started deliberately.
Tarifa charges for taking vehicles to the beaches
Tarifa Council has imposed a tax on motorists taking vehicles to the beaches, €1.50 for cars and €5.00 for motor caravans, and have expressed surprise at the negative reaction to the measure.

Seven cars destroyed by fire in Marbella
At around 22:30 on Friday night, fire broke out in a vehicle in the residential car park in Los Cipreses, Marbella, the flames spreading rapidly and eventually destroying seven cars. The National Police are investigating the incident.
New City Ordinance in Benalmádena
As from now, the selling of vehicles on the streets of Benelmádena requires a licence from the Municipal Council.
