The Department of Social Welfare in Benalmádena and Sea Life have organised a campaign to collect food and toys which will run until January 4th 2013. Any children taking toys or one kilo of non-perishable foodstuffs to the Sea Life Aquarium will be entitled to free entry into the facility.
Toy collection in Torrox
The Association of Young Single Women in Torrox is once again collecting toys, new or reconditioned but in perfect condition and with no sexist or military connotations, for the Spanish Red Cross.
Novel collection in El Borge
Solidarity Sunday in El Borge raised a total of €1,518 for the victims of the earthquake in Haiti. The money will go to Haiti via the Fondo Andaluz de Municipios por la Solidaridad Internacional (FAMSI).
