The Association of Employers in Nerja (AEN), Nerja Centro and the Town Hall have organised the third Christmas Facades Competition, which is open to all Nerja Centro members.
Valentine’s Day competitions
There are two competitions for Valentine’s Day being organised by the Department of Youth, one for designing a romantic card and a second for photos of the most romantic kiss.
Homemade Desserts Contest
The registration period is now open for anyone wishing to enter the I Barriada de Las Protegidas Homemade Desserts Contest with the competition starting at 13:30 and the awards being made at around 19:30 on September 21st in the Plaza de Andalucia.
‘Fachadas y Casas Puertas’ competition
The Neighbourhood Association of the Barriada de Las Protegidas – the area around Plaza de Andalucia – has organised a ‘Fachadas y Casas Puertas’ – Facades and House Doors -competition as part of the Veladilla de San Miguel celebrations to be held on September 19th 2013.
‘Christmas Window’ competition
The AEN is organising a ‘Christmas Window’ competition to encourage local businesses to decorate the facades of their shops over Christmas with a top prize of €1,000.
II Carriage Driving Competion
Sunday October 2nd, starting at 10:30, is the II Carriage Driving Competition which is being held at Cerro de Alaminos, next to the Castillo Alto industrial estate.
St Valentine letter competition
The Department of Youth of the Nerja Council is once again organising a St Valentine’s Day competition entitled ‘Letters of Love and Firendship’. The best entry will win dinner for two at one of the hotels in Nerja.
Carriage driving competition
The first carriage driving competition to be held in Nerja, the Concurso Maratón-Indoor Ciudad de Nerja, will be held on Saturday from 11:30 at Cerro de Alamitos on the Castillo Alto industrial estate.
May Crosses competition
The period for groups or individuals to register for the May Crosses competition is now open with the deadline being April 28th. Those interested should register at the Nerja Cultural Centre in calle Granada. The Day of the Crosses is May 3rd.
