Contracts awarded for improvements around Jimera de Libar station
ADIF has awarded the contracts for improvement and adaptation works in the area around Jimera de Libar station, the total budget being €255,185.40.
Several contracts going out to tender
The contract to refurbish the Interpretation Centre for Ronda Furniture, a building completed in 2006 at a cost of €1.2 million but hardly used, has been put out to tender.
Businessman arrested in Sanlúcar de Barrameda for selling contracts to illegal immigrants
National Police in Sanlúcar de Barrameda have arrested a local businessman engaged in selling preliminary work contracts to Senegalese immigrants so that they could apply for residency in Spain.
Contracts awarded to local firms
The contract to build the Footbal 7 pitch in Parque Verano Azul has been awarded to Calidad Deportiva S.L, the amount of the contract being €253,437. The Council has also awarded a contract, value €40,498, to García e Hijos to install an ultraviolet pump in the municipal swimming pool, a measure designed to save on consumption of chlorine.
More building contracts approved
The Council has approved another series of contracts for building works within the town, this time for a total of €732,131.
