Following a busy summer season and the end of the feria, during which times one was almost falling over bag sellers and other street vendors, the Local Police have now launched a special ‘campaign’ to crack down on such activities.
DGT crackdown on seatbelt use
Monday morning sees the start of a DGT crackdown on the wearing of seatbelts and the correct use of car seats for children, the campaign designed to coincide with the return to school of nearly one million children in Andalucia.
Mobile phones and driving
A total of nearly 17,000 vehicles were checked in Málaga province during the recent DGT crackdown on the use of mobile phones while driving, the campaign being carried out between March 5th and March 18th.
Crackdown on rubbish dumping in Vélez-Málaga
The Local Police and members of the Cleaning Department in Vélez-Málaga are launching a crackdown on those who disobey the municipal ordinances relating to the disposal of garbage and the removal of animal excrement.
