The regional Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries has ordered the closure of the bivalve fishing areas in Málaga province as a result of high levels of DSP and PSP toxins.

Two restaurant owners in Antilla-Lepe, Huelva, have been charged with crimes against the public health after inspectors from Seprona and the District Sanitation Department discovered shellfish contaminated with DSP biotoxins.
