During a two month period, the number of thefts from rural homes and farms in the Guadalhorce area of Málaga province doubled, but a concerted police effort and 30 arrests have gradually brought the situation under control.

National Police are investigating the death of a 27 year old Chinese woman whose body was found in a warehouse on the Guadalhorce industrial estate in Málaga.
Temporary change to Málaga-Fuengirola local train service
The local train service between Málaga and Fuengirola will not be going via the airport between now and next Thursday due to works being carried out at the airport. A fleet of buses will take passengers from the RENFE station María Zambrano to the airport, stopping en route at Guadalhorce and San Andrés.
