Iberia cancels 127 flights

Iberia has cancelled a total of 127 flights today, Monday, including four in Andalucia, as a result of the continuing industrial action by SEPLA pilots.

Iberia cancels 289 flights

Iberia has cancelled a total of 289 flights during the next upcoming strikes planned by the pilots union SEPLA, these being scheduled to take place on January 25th, 27th and 30th.

More strikes planned by Iberia pilots

The pilots union SEPLA is planning further strikes on January 25th, 27th and 30th as they continue their protest against Iberia’s decision to set up a low cost airline, Iberia Express.

188 flights affected by strike

Iberia has had to cancel 118 flights today, Thursday, as SEPLA continues its industrial action against the company.

Talks resume to try and avoid another airline strike

Iberia and SEPLA, the pilot’s union, have returned to the negotiating table in an attempt to avoid the strike planned for this Friday. Talks last week ended without an agreement being reached.

100 Iberia flights cancelled as a result of strike by pilots

Iberia has cancelled over 100 flights today due to the pilots strike called by the union SEPLA in protest at the company’s plans to start a low cost airline, Iberia Express, in March 2012. A second day of industrial action is planned for Monday.

Iberia pilots strike days announced

Iberia pilots have finally made up their minds about when to carry out industrial action and it will be on December 18th and 29th, dates apparently chosen so as not to create unnecessary disruption to tourism. The strikes will affect about 10% of scheduled flights on those days.
