The new Ichiban Japanese Teppanyaki restaurant in calle Cristo (replacing El Patio Cordobés) is now open for business.
New Japanese restaurant opening shortly
The former El Patio Cordobés is being renovated before opening as a Japanese restaurant which will serve, amongst other things, Teppanyaki- teppanyaki is derived from teppan, which means iron plate, and yaki, which means grilled, broiled, or pan-fried.
Sekai now open
The new Japanese restaurant ‘Sekai’ is now open for business. Only looked from the outside so far but it looks like good decor and features a mezzanine floor.

The renovation of the former Finlay’s Corner on avenida Castilla Perez is nearing completion and it will be the Sekai Japanese restaurant. Sekai means ‘World’.
