Works costing €120,000 are to be carried out around the old flour mill in avenida de El Compás in Mijas Pueblo to prevent the landslides which frequently occur during the rainy season.
No help for Torrox
The Highways Department of the Ministry of Development in Málaga has refused to provide financial aid to Torrox Council following the three week closure of part of the N-340 coastal road due to rockslides caused by the heavy rains.
