Council enforcing municipal ordinance relating to animals

The Councillor for Cleaning and Urban Ecology, José Miguel García, has reported that during the past few days, the Council has been implementing the municipal ordinances relating to the keeping of animals and the Local Police have fined several people for not cleaning up after their animals.

Municipal ordinances for 2013 approved

The full Council session has approved the municipal ordinances for 2013 with, in some cases, amendments made to the original proposals. The tax on rubbish collection, originally to be a linear rate of €3 will now be a sliding rate of €2, €3 or €4 taking into account the area and the assessed value of the property.
