Today was the 25th anniversary concert by the Nerja Municipal Band which took place on the Balcón de Europa. A blustery day, and the music went flying at one stage, but everyone appeared to be enjoying the spectacle.
Nerja Municipal Band to play concert in Cáceres
The Nerja Municipal Band will be giving a concert in Cáceres, Extremadura, on March 3rd. The concert takes place in the Centro Cultural Capitol and starts at 20:30.
Band on the move…
The Nerja Municipal Band were marching around the parque Verano Azul early on Monday evening, practising their moves. Normally they just stand in one place. Attracted quite a few onlookers and they were sounding very polished.
Municipal School of Music and Dance
A centre for music and dance is once again on the agenda and the Council has now approved a blueprint to adapt the part-completed building in the Barriada de los Poetas for this purpose.
Musical events at the Sala Mercado, Nerja
In addition to the continuation of the exhibition ‘Instrumentos musicales de barro en Andalucía’, the Sala Mercado in Plaza de la Ermita will also be hosting a few musical events over the holiday period.
