The Supersol supermarket at the junction of calle Antonio Ferrandis ‘Chanquete’ and calle San Miguel at the western end of town will be open on Sunday December 8th from 09:00 to 22:00.
Closed and open…
Mena in calle El Barrio is closed from July 1st to July 6th. The Supersol at the western end of town is once again open after extensive renovations and intensive Feng Shui. Good luck finding anything!
Supersol renovations
The Supersol near the roundabout at the bottom of calle San Miguel will be closed from June 22nd to June 26th inclusive for renovations. It will reopen on June 27th.
Supersol to change hands
The distribution company Dinosol has signed an agreement to sell the supermarket chain Supersol in the Spanish peninsular to Agile Finance, the distribution arm of the Lithuanian chain Maxima. The deal is pending approval by the Monopolies Commission.
Supersol BBQ
The Supersol cafe on calle San Miguel is offering an interesting BBQ buffet for €7.95. Generally very good quality food and a reasonable price.
Bag charge…
Supersol now charge €0.02 per per plastic bag at the checkouts. They have also been playing Feng Shui again, took me ages to find what I was looking for. They keep moving things around almost on a weekly basis.
