A 75 year old woman was stabbed to death today in Terrassa, Barcelona, allegedly by her 80 year old husband who has been arrested. After allegedly committing the deed, the husband tried to injure himself and needed hospital treatment. This is the 45th confirmed domestic fatality so far this year.

The Catalan Police have arrested 41 year old Francisco V.B. after he rang the police to say that he had had an argument with his wife and then stabbed her to death at their home in Terrassa.

A 62 year old woman died on Wednesday afternoon in Terrassa after being stabbed during an argument with a neighbour, an 81 year old man.
