A police operation in La Linea de la Concepción, Cádiz, has so far resulted in the arrest of twenty people for their alleged involvement in the smuggling of tobacco.
Tobacco smuggling organisation dismantled
Police have dismantled an international organisation dedicated to smuggling tobacco and money laundering, arresting 13 people so and seizing 2.668.250 packs of cigarettes.
Crackdown on tobacco smuggling in Sevilla
The security forces in Sevilla are currently conducting a major operation against tobacco smuggling in Sevilla province, with raids on private and industrial premises in Tomares and Sevilla city. Six people have so far been arrested during the operation.
