Consternation yesterday as early reports suggested golfer Tiger Woods had been seriously injured following a car accident as he left the driveway of his home in Windermere, Florida.
He had apparently hit a fire hydrant and then a tree. Luckily, the early reports turned out to be less than accurate and Woods, after treatment for a few cuts and bruises, was released from hospital.
A police investigation into the accident is underway. The BBC provided some great ‘live’ aerial coverage of….the tree.
