The Mirador del Bendito is a nice viewpoint on prolongation Hernán de Carabeo and looking out to sea over Carabeillo beach.
A recent addition (May 2011) to the Mirador is a cannon which was previously just lying around on Calahonda beach. A new base has been constructed and the cannon now proudly stands in the centre of the Mirador.
There are, apparently, quite a few old cannon throughout the municipality, most of them at least partially buried.
There are two pergolas on the Mirador with the roofs being a mass of vegetation as opposed to being solid, making them very pleasant places to sit.
Plenty of cafes and bars in the immediate vicinity and, of course, there is Carabeillo beach below. Quite steep steps down to the beach and not for anyone with mobility problems.
