Four people were injured on Saturday morning during a precession in Aguilar de Frontera, Córdoba, when a vehicle travelling behind the procession ran into members of the band accompanying the Virgen de la Piedad.
The incident occurred at 02:15 in calle Pozuelo. The driver of the vehicle, which was travelling about thirty metres behind the procession, lost control on the slope and hit the band members. Several people tried to stop the vehicle but failed.
The four injured musicians, aged 14 to 44 years, were rushed to hospital in Montilla. None of the injuries were serious.
