On Sunday November 16th, a little later than usual due to the extended summer season, it is the tenth Seabed Cleaning exercise, weather permitting of course.
The work will performed at three points, these being El Playazo, Torrecilla and Barranco de Maro, with around 150 people participating, including 40 divers.
The whole project is under the supervision of Bernabé Jorge Toledo from the Nerja Dive Centre, Buceo Costa Nerja. As in previous years, the main items removed from the seabed are likely to be discarded plastics of one sort or another.
Food and a certificate of participation will be given to all those taking part in the exercise.
