Storms ravage the North of Spain

Seven metre high waves and 100 kph winds have been reeking havoc in the north of Spain with one ship broken into three parts and 50 boats sunk in San Sebastian marina.

The streets in San Sebastian have also been awash, the waves sweeping away lampposts and rubbish containers and causing damage to many cars. The water even reached the Town Hall and many buildings in the town have been flooded.
