Two fishermen are missing after setting sail from Cádiz last Friday to fish in the waters off the Canary Islands.
The fishing vessel ‘Saul’ set sail last Friday to fish in the waters off the Canary Islands and hasn’t been seen since. Attempts by the families of the two sailors to contact them by phone have been unsuccessful, although on one occasion, apparently, they did receive an answer from someone speaking ‘Arabic’. This has led the families to believe that their menfolk have either been kidnapped or otherwise detained against their will.
The Moroccan authorities have denied any knowledge of the two men.
