Local Police in Rincón de la Victoria have arrested a man who allegedly kept his partner locked in a room for three days.
The police were called by neighbours who heard cries for help and upon arriving at the house in Rincón de la Victoria, they found a woman in a great deal of stress and showing signs of violence.
The woman told the police she had been kept locked up for three days and had been assaulted on a number of occasions during that time. The police arrested her partner on suspicion of being the perpetrator of the crime of gender violence.
