A 17 year old worker died after falling two metres from some scaffolding in La Carlota, Córdoba.
The youth was working alongside his father on a new building in calle Intendencia, close to the Gallardo industrial estate, when the pair of them fell from the scaffolding. The reasons for the accident are not known, but a preliminary inspection of the site showed that all the correct security measures were in place. An investigation is underway.
The boy and his father were working for the company Juan Morillo Zafra. The boy’s father escaped unharmed from the accident.
