The Cultural Department of Vélez-Málaga Council has arranged for three libraries to tour the main beaches during the summer.
The initiative is designed to promote reading and ensure that no-one going to the beach is without reading material should they require it. Two kiosks will be installed on the promenades to display the books.
The books can be hired by both residents and tourists upon presentation of passport/DNI and the payment of a €3 deposit.
