A 70 year old man died this morning on La Misericordia beach in Málaga after leaving the water with convulsions.
The man, whose identity is not yet known, died after leaving the water suffering from convulsions. Medics were quickly on the scene but could do nothing to revive him. The incident occurred near chiringuito María on La Misericordia beach.
An investigation is being carried out to ascertain the exact cause of death although preliminary indications are that he drowned.
