Heptathlon silver medallist Liudmyla Blonska has apparently tested positive for a banned substance.
The Ukrainian, aged 30, was handed a two year ban in June 2003 after traces of stanozolol were found in her system. If Blonska’s B sample matches her A sample then she is likely to be expelled from the Beijing Games within 24 hours.
