A Guardia Civil patrol escorted a boat carrying 45 illegal immigrants to port after it had been spotted a few miles off the coast of Barbate, Cádiz. There were 34 men and 11 women on board, all of whom had inadvertantly forgotten to bring any sort of documentation with them.
