Early Division II matches saw Zaragoza and Real Sociedad meet again, three days after a cup match in which the Basque side triumphed, but this time it ended in a 2-2 draw.
Ewerthon scored twice in the first ten minutes for Zaragoza and they looked well on the way to avenging their cup defeat, but second half goals from Marcos and Díaz de Cerio evened things out and it ended up all square.
In the other Saturday match, Hércules and Rayo Valencano also drew, 1-1 the scoreline. It was an own goal by Amaya, three minutes into injury time, which saved the day for Hércules.
