Judge unhappy about leaks

This video, apparently taken by AENA airport cameras at Madrid’s Barajas airport, shows the attempted take off and subsequent crash of Spanair flight JK 5022, a terrible tragedy in which 154 people lost their lives on August 20th 2008.

Judge Javier Pérez, the man investigating the crash of Spanair flight JK 5022 which crashed at Madrid’s Barajas airport on August 20th and claimed the lives of 154 people, is none too happy about various pertinent items, such as AENA video footage and draft preliminary reports being leaked to the press.

The judge will decide today what action to take on the matter. A draft preliminary report by the Commission for the Investigation of Accidents and Incidents of Civil Aviation (CIAIAC) was earlier leaked to the media and now it is a video, taken by AENA airport cameras, which shows the MD-82 attempting to take off and then crashing.

The video first appeared in the Spanish daily newspaper El Pais but has now been picked up by many other media sources.
