Helicopters are being used to search for survivors from a boat which capsized shortly after starting out on its journey from Morocco to Spain.
The boat, carrying around 50 passengers, set of from Kenitra in Morocco, but apparently capsized about thrity minutes into the 250 km journey. One body has been found washed up on a beach in Kenitra and one survivor has so far been rescued.
Kenitra, which is near Rabat, is not a common starting point for illegal immigrants as it is so far from the Spanish coast, around 250 kilometres, and makes the journey even more hazardous than normal.
